Current Event #4

A young boy in elementary school was kidnapped while getting onto the bus at the buss stop by a gun man who shot the bus driver a few minutes before. The gun man had been building a underground bunker for about a year now at night time and that's where he's keeping the boy. No one knows where the bunker is yet but police and the FBI are working on the case. This is really scary because this could've happened to anyone, and the entire community is worrying for the boy. I really hpe the boy is found an returned safely to his parents.

Current Event #3

This current event is about how new evidence was found in the Chandra Levy murder trial. This impacts the community because her loved ones are affected greatly by this news. My reaction to this is that justice needs to be served when something like this has come up.

A witness called the police when they witnessed an assult on the street. During the arrest the police discovered the 5 men in the car were all growing and sellig meth. The men were all arrested and put in jail.

Current Events

A mother and son home during a break in were forced to hide in an attic while on the phone with her husband, he was on another phone with 911. The intruder was armed with a crow bar. He told her to keep calm and if he did come into the attic, to shoot the intruder, as he had showed her how to use the gun for safety. The intruder did come into the bathroom and Donnie, the mother hiding with her 6 year-old son, shot th gun 6 times, hitting him 5 of those times. I think it was a great idea that the husband taught her how to use a gun inside something like this happened. This Georgia mom is now looked at as a role model to other mothers.

Elephant Calf Reunited with His Mother

This story is about a baby elephant that fell into a man-made well and two men and a Land Rover were determined to pull the baby out and reunite him with his mother. The article was touching and all but the video of the baby and it’s mother reuniting was so cute. It was amazing to see the mens’ hard work pay off. It’s amazing how one little act of kindness can go such a long way.
